What to do if the spinner of your washing machine is not turning

If your washing machine is not spinning or if you are finding that the drum is not moving or turning during the wash then the following listed reasons could be one of them. Hence, try the tips suggested by Plumbers Bethnal green to service the spinners.
1) Carbon or the Motor Brushes: Firstly and usually the common reason could be that the motor brushes might have torn out, which is why the spinner is not turning. Hence, to check the carbon brushes, just simply remove the brushes properly and take a look at the end of the black carbon. If you find 100 it very burnt and black, then it will definitely need a replacement so that your machine properly spins again. If the carbon is less worn out it, then it can be replaced by a new motor.
2) Check for Faulty Belt: The belt could have been broken or may have come off from its place. The greatest way to test for faulty belt is to turn and move the drum manually. If the belt turns very freely without any resistance of any sort and if there is no motor noise, then the belt is definitely faulty. But if the drum is hard to move, then you probably have a something stuck between the tub and the drum assembly. In this case you can call for qualified engineers from Plumber Bethnal green.
3) Check if you have blocked filter or pump: If you still find that the spinner is not moving, then you might have water in the drum which is why your drain pump has stopped working or you have blocked filter. Hence, it is necessary to check the filter. If that is fine, then the pump may be at fault. If that is so, then you will hear a low humming noise for which your pump will need replacing.
